Lenovo will hold an event this Thursday, as part of IFA 2019, an event it calls TechLife. As part of it, among other things, it will present a long list of computers, tablets and other computing details that are intended for the consumer market. In preparation for the event, the company announced the new product line to be introduced, and attention paid to the IdeaCentre A540 grabber design that offers a special look that the company mimics the asymmetrical balance of the Chinese cypress tree.
The computer will be offered with 24- and 27-inch screens with a screen-to-zoom ratio that reaches 93% and with a particularly slim frame. It will be offered with Intel Core i3-i7 ninth-generation processors, with AMD RX540X or RX560X display cards according to the screen size with 4 to 16 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM, with 1/2 terabyte mechanical drives -Byte and SSDs, ranging in volume from 128GB to 1TB.
The IPS screens support touch and will come in FHD resolution for the 24-inch computer and QHD resolution for the 27-inch computer. You can also select non-contact versions. They are also equipped with Harman speakers with support for JBL and Dolby technologies as well as a complementary subwoofer that you value to provide surround sound.
The computers will arrive in Israel this November at initial prices of NIS 4,290 and NIS 4,990, depending on the screen size.
Concave screen and not just for players
The company will display several screens in the show. One is the G34w, and as its name suggests it is a screen for 34-inch gamers with a particularly wide display at WQHD resolution. It comes in a 1500R curve and a 21: 9 wide aspect ratio and will support a 144 Hz refresh rate, and should also offer Radeon FreeSync technology support if connected to a computer with an AMD display card. There is still no launch date and pricing for Israel.
New IdeaPad Needs
The first consumer laptop with Intel’s 10th-generation Core Processor from Lenovo will land in December at a starting price of NIS 3,500. It’s an IdeaPad S540 with a 13.3-inch screen with QHD resolution and 300-nit clarity. It will feature 10th-generation Core i3 processors through Core i7 including the six-core Core i7-10710U processor. It will be available for selection with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 display chip.
The computer comes with 8/16 gigabytes of RAM, a 256 gigabyte to 1 terabyte SSW of only 1.25 kilograms. It comes with two 2 watt speakers and offers up to 16 hours of work And also supports fast charging called my Rapid Charge member that guarantees 100% charging in two hours and up to 80% in just one hour.
Blanovo also talks about Q-Control, a feature that allows direct choice of power-saving modes or performance according to the user’s needs. Q-Control uses machine learning to track running tasks in the background and the computer’s thermal properties to control fans and optimize battery life.
In January, the S540 will also join the S340 with the same screen size but at FHD resolution and with no choice of the Core i7 processor from hexagonal. It will also come with a smaller battery that guarantees up to 8 hours of work. It also offers lower RAM and lower storage options, and it generates a starting price of NIS 2,800.
By the way, IdeaPad S540 and IdeaCentre A540 will also be offered with AMD processors around the world.
