One Plus Plus has launched its new pair of devices, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro . These do not differ from the screen size only, but there are some other details that you are not sure you know.
OnePlus 7: Screen
The screen is of course the obvious difference. The OnePlus 7 Pro model carries a 6.67-inch screen that is curved sideways and without a flaw or camera hole. In contrast, the standard OnePlus 7 model carries a 6.41-inch screen with a small drawback at the top for the camera and is almost identical to the previous generation.
But that’s not all, because the Pro screen also brings more benefits like higher pixel density (516ppi vs. 402ppi), 90Hz high refresh frequency and HDR10 support.
Despite the differences in screen size, the difference in physical size is not significant as the screen-to-body ratio of the Pro reaches 88.1%. So the dimensions are 162.6 by 75.9 mm for the Pro model compared to 157.7 by 74 mm for the regular model. The overall weight does make a difference, so the Pro model is heavier at 24 grams and weighs 206 grams overall.
OnePlus 7: Cameras
The photography system is also different. 3 lenses for the Pro model as opposed to two lenses for the regular OnePlus 7 model. While both have a 48 megapixel primary sensor with an image stabilizer, the Pro has another 16 wide lens and 8 megapixel telephoto and x3 optical zoom. The standard model has an additional 5 megapixel sensor. The selfie camera is both 16 megapixels with a wide lens.
OnePlus 7: Hardware
In terms of hardware, the differences are relatively small. Both are based on the Snapdraogon 855 chip with 6 or 8 gigabytes (RAM) of working memory, and in the case of the Pro there is also the option of 12 gigabytes. Internal storage varies from 128 to 256 gigabytes. Both have no memory card expansion option.
The OnePlus 7 battery is slightly weaker than the Pro model – with a capacity of 3,700 millimeters compared to 4,000 millimeters. Both have fast charging support, but the Pro model charger is faster (30 watts vs. 20 watts). Both also have a fingerprint sensor under the screen as well as stereo speakers, but the Pro model also adds support for Dolby Atmos.
The price also has a difference and is significant: OnePlus 7 starts at $ 549, compared to $ 669 for the initial OnePlus 7 Pro price.
So who do you choose?
