As leaked last month , maker Mobvoi is indeed the first to announce a smartwatch based on the new Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset. Exactly a bit due to the lack of competitive hardware that can compete with that of Apple or Samsung.
And the TicWatch Pro 3 does look quite impressive. It is thinner than the previous generation recently launched in Israel and similarly it features a dual display with a 1.4-inch color AMOLED screen and a resolution of 454X454 pixels, and above it a black and white display that works when the color screen is off.
The battery life of the TicWatch Pro 3 has been significantly improved: when used with the color display, the usage time is up to 72 hours. Based on the black and white screen only, the TicWatch Pro 3 offers a groundbreaking battery life in the category of up to 45 days. All this using a battery at a rate of 557 mAh.
The watch includes a built-in GPS receiver, and a comprehensive array of sensors: heart rate, sleep, blood oxygenation, pressure and breathing indices. The watch also measures the intensity of background noise and warns of danger to the ears and nervous system and also includes a rich application package from Moboi. It is water resistant to the IP68 standard, and also includes an altimeter and even a built-in gyroscope. The memory capacity for file storage is 8 GB, with 1 GB of working memory.
The TicWatch Pro 3 will cost about $ 300, and is expected to hit stores this week. At Amazon UK it sold for £ 289.99 .
