Apple did not finish the series of her declarations 2020 and announced another event to be held on November 10 is expected to unveil its first Mac computer chip based on ARM manufactured. The invitation reads her familiar phrase “One More Thing”, which the late Steve Jobs used to use in almost every major event, so it signifies that this is indeed a very important announcement for her.
Apple announced earlier this year that it is working on ARM processors that will replace the Intel processors that are currently widely used in all of its Macs. This is a complex project that requires many changes and software adjustments along with application redevelopment. However, Apple has claimed that in fact ARM processors are able to achieve better performance along with low power consumption compared to Intel processors.
For now, it is estimated that Apple will not give up on Intel processors and its ARM series of computers at once, and will do so with a few MacBook models gradually. Later on, the company plans to make the dramatic change to all the products, including the desktops.
Another thing that Apple is expected to announce is the launch of the final version of macOS 11 Big Sur, which has so far been in beta.
