After a long wait, WhatsApp (WhastApp) is finally ready to officially launch the Dark Mode theme for its app. The new version is gradually being distributed to all Android and iOS users through the app stores.
On the release of the dark situation, Wastap announced in a short video that it focuses on what bothers most phone users in the dark – the blinding light in the eyes. In contrast to other apps, the company chose not to display a completely black background, after testing and finding that it could actually cause increased fatigue. Instead, the background is dark gray and the entire color scheme has undergone various polishing.
To turn on the dark mode, you must log into Android 10 or iOS 13 to the system settings and switch to a dark formatting system. On Android 9, go to the Watsapp> Chat> Themes app settings and select the dark mode. There is no way to manually turn on the dark tomb right now which is a bit of a shame.
It should be mentioned that the option is only available in the latest version of Wattsap so the app needs to be updated from the store first – starting with version 2.20.64 on Android or 2.20.30 on iOS. If you have not yet received, you will have to wait patiently as the distribution will be gradual and reach all users.
