Just months after launching, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro from OnePlus are now joining the manufacturer’s Open Beta program for OxygenOS operating system updates. The trial version of the first update is already available for download and installation is quite simple, as well as removing and reverting to the previous version if needed.
So what’s new? Except for Google’s monthly security update (Google), this version includes the recently- released Read It feature, which allows the digital assistant to read onscreen articles and articles in one of 42 languages, including real-time translation of these languages.
In addition, improvements are made to how devices manage working memory for better performance when running multiple apps at the same time, faster and more accurate on-screen response, screen setup improvements and contact list, and of course various bug fixes.
As always, because this is a trial version, it may contain various and unexpected glitches, and users are advised to wait for the official and final version to be released in the next few weeks. Anyone who still wants to be part of the beta testers can experiment freely and is asked, but not required, to report bugs found in the system.
